Business Coaching Process

The business improvement process is truly a continuous journey.  The choice isn't to spend the dollars, but rather where and how.  The true competitive advantages in the Business World today are; Hiring the right Attitudes, Behaviors and Skills, Continually Enhancing Staff Capabilities, Having the Current most Advanced Technology, and effective Operational and Management Systems.

OPI wants to share their tools, methodologies and insights in dealing the Hiring, Retaining and Development of Human Capital.  Because it's the Human Capital that uses the technology and runs the management and operational systems - that is truly the competitive advantage.

Assessments provide an initial starting point to determining where and how best proceed.  Many companies jump in with the "just do it" mindset, assuming they understand the people or technical obstacles well enough.  Some later learn that this assumption was wrong - some naturally think that it is still the employees fault and continue to strive ahead, most likely with different employees. 

Understanding the "How" and "Why" we behave and think as we do should never be under estimated.  Art and Bill suggest that this is where you should start.  Because once you have that understanding for yourself and your team - then you'll have a sense of where to really begin.  As you increase your mastery of understanding yourself and others, then it's time to customize a specific plan to move your organization from being reactive to being proactive.
